Basics of Mediation Training Program
15 hours (2-days: in-person)/(Virtual 4 days- 3 hrs each day)
A) Course Content:
I. Module I – Introduction to Alternate Dispute Resolution
II. Module II – Introduction to Mediation and Negotiation
III. Module III – Scope of Mediation
IV. Module IV – Ethics and Code of Conduct
V. Role play Demo, Opening Statement of mediator Demo, opening statement of the parties’ demo

B) Who can join:
• Those candidates who wish to gain basic knowledge of Mediation as an alternate method of dispute resolution
• Any graduate level person
• Law and management students
• Graduates from any other field than law
C) Course Medium & Materials:
Considering the international accreditation requirements, the course language would be in ENGLISH. All the coursework would be provided in ENGLIGH language. However, as a training provider, we would be happy to make participants to understand the theory and concept in the regional language whenever it is necessary.
Every course participant would be provided with a concise coursebook consisting theory, principles and concepts of mediation and Negotiation well explained in ENGLISH.
D) ASSESSMENTS:
The participants will be assessed by 90-minutes role play (simulations), this will be recorded using suitable equipment and will be sent to independent assessors OR in presence of assessors online.
